This Australian opal doublet is just gorgeous--frosty white on the verge of palest blue with flashy streaks of pink, orange and green. It sits wrapped in the rich gleam of 22k solid gold on a platform of oxidized sterling silver for maximum contrast. Along one edge of the opal I have wrapped faceted sky blue topaz and amazonite on 14k gold headpins for a lush cluster of additional sparkle. The 3mm wide simple band measures a US size 8.
